Mr Xiao Jinquan is the China Law Consultant of Central Chambers and Senior Partner of Dacheng Central Chambers which he helped to create together with Aloysius. He obtained his Masters Degree in Political Science and Law in China University in 1986. He had also obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in the Department of Journalism, Institute of International Politics.
An Advocate and Solicitor in China since 1994, Mr Xiao is a pioneer advocator and one of the most distinguished experts of China in the field of investment, mergers and acquisitions. He posseses a strong foundation in providing strategic project schemes for large-sized corporations, restructure of state-owned enterprises, mergers and acquisitions, reform of assets and debts, analyzing legal risks for investment, international financing. Mr. Xiao is above all, well known in legal circles and enjoys recognition amongst his peers in China.
Currently, Mr. Xiao serves as a standing counsellor for more than twenty large corporations and institutes. He provides policy consultancy for State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, National Development and Reform Commission and Research Center of State Council.
Mr Xiao is the chief editor of numerous reference works including the “Complete Paraphrase of the Law of the People’s Republic of China” and the “Collection of Forms of Chinese Legal Writ”. He also presides over the translations of the renowned encyclopedia “The Great Oxford Legal Lexicon”. He has similarly published several books such as “Discussions on Economic Law”, “The Legal Strategy On Corporation’s Mergers & Acquisitions” and “Investment, Merger & Acquisition in China”.
As the senior partner in Beijing Dacheng Law Offices one of the largest law practices in China, Mr. Xiao was appointed as the China Law Consultant by Central Chambers since 2006.
