Ronnie began his practice as a litigator and had over the years, migrated into areas of corporate and commercial advice. He is now involved in negotiation of agreements and of drafting commercial agreements and related corporate arrangements for companies and Statutory Boards. His background in litigation gives him an advantage in negotiating and drafting contracts.
The growing area of the law connected with sports is one of the areas that Ronnie is heavily involved in. He has been advising a major Statutory Board involved in sports promotion for many years and continues to do so. He has led a team of lawyers to perform a Legal Audit on the said Statutory Board. He presently advises the Government on certain legal matters in sports related infrastructure projects. He was involved in advising on legal aspects of the Sports Hub project which is a major government and private sector partnership initiative (“PPP”) expected to shape the landscape of Singapore sports. Nevertheless, Ronnie's passion is still litigation and continues to act as counsel for other law practices.
Ronnie was part of the Central Chambers team that undertook for legal book publishers, Sweet & Maxwell, a work entitled “Model Commercial Contracts & Letters” which is now in 2nd print.
