Rahul Singh Talwar is a Foreign Lawyer and is part of the India Practice Group at Central Chambers. He graduated from the Symbiosis Law School, Pune where he pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration and Bachelor of Laws programme. Rahul has also obtained a Master of Laws in Corporate and Financial Services Law from the National University Singapore in 2010.
Prior to joining Central Chambers, Rahul was part of the in-house team at one of the largest private sector banks in India. He was involved in various cross-border transactions and specialized in loan syndications, treasury operations and foreign direct investments. He worked on various transactions that were awarded and recognized by the International Financial Law Review and Asian Legal Business.
As an Indian qualified lawyer with substantial experience in investments into India, Rahul plays an important role in structuring cross-border investments and assisting clients in corporate matters such as banking, private equity investments, venture capital work, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, and general corporate agreements. Further, he also assists Indian companies in their Singapore and China operations and provides them with strategic advice on operations and expansion into these countries.
Rahul speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi.
