Jessie Zhu graduated from Dalian Maritime University, China with a degree in Maritime Law in 2003. She also obtained an L.L.M. from the University of Nottingham in 2005 and passed the bar examination in China in 2007.
Prior to joining Central Chambers, Ms. Zhu worked at the Herbert Smith LLP Shanghai Representative Office. There, she regularly advised clients on a broad range of corporate matters, foreign direct investment and mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Zhu holds the post of China Practice Group Legal Consultant in Central Chambers. She has been involved in Singapore and China on the areas of foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructurings, project finance, private equity, venture capital, due diligence, contract and commercial transactions.
Ms. Zhu speaks English and Chinese Mandarin.
